Abstract

A study based on the results of cluster and correlation analysis of associations between metabolic, infectious and immune factors and vascular wall statement' parameters was performed in patients with the metabolic syndrome. The obligatory virus infections (herpes simplex virus type 1 and cytomegalovirus) were found out in all the patients, they also had chlamydia pneumoniae in case of the metabolic syndrome. Cluster analysis revealed tight co-subordination of the vascular wall parameters, organism infectiousness, immune and metabolic indexes. This fact allows to suggest that all those parameters play a significant role in the development of vascular pathology in patients with the metabolic syndrome. In relation of that the study of the metabolic syndrome requires a complex approach considering organism infectiousness parameters and immune factors.
