Abstract

The influence of primary PCI on hospital prognosis and clinical outcomes in patients with acute myocardial infarction admitted more than 12 hours from symptoms onset. 53 patients received invasive treatment and 47 patients were treated conservatively. In invasive group in-hospital mortality was significantly lower than in conservative group (3.8 vs 21.3%, ОR 0.15, 95% CI 0.02-0.77, р = 0.02). Cumulative incidence of death and recurrent myocardial infarction was 7.5% in invasive group and 28.9% in conservative group (OR 0.2, 95% CI 0.05-0.72, p = 0.01).
