 History of the Journal

The authors, creating the Journal, hoped that it would be different from many other wonderful publications in this area. These differences involved the engagement of new specialties: cardiac surgery, transplantology, basic research, endocrinology and other medical and biological disciplines.

Then, in the early 2000s, our Director, Academician Bockeria L.A. had an idea to use this term "creative" that is creative cardiology. At first, the term was perceived with surprise, and when there was a regular international conference with such a name, the audience was quite accustomed to such an unusual, interesting and truly creative format for publishing, conferences and other types of research activities.

The journal “Creative Cardiology” is a peer-reviewed scientific-practical journal, which has been  published twice a year since 2007 and four times a year since 2014. Its founder and publisher is A.N. Bakulev National Medical Research Center of Cardiovascular Surgery.
