Abstract

Treatment of a patient with coronary artery disease is a multi-stage process that includes optimal drug therapy, high-tech endovascular and surgical methods of myocardial revascularization. Obviously, the clinical success of myocardial revascularization in coronary artery bypass grafting largely depends on the subsequent correct management of the patient and his active involvement in comprehensive rehabilitation and secondary prevention programs. In this regard, rehabilitation measures aimed at improving the functioning of the patient, associated with both surgical intervention and the underlying disease, restoring the optimal physical and psychological state of patients, as well as disturbed compensatory mechanisms, and preventing the progression of the disease are of great importance.
The purpose of this review is to summarize current data for the identification of cardiorehabilitation disorders in patients with coronary artery disease.
