Abstract

Aim: to determine the relation of in-hospital mortality in acute myocardial infarction with ST elevation (STEMI) with glomerular filtration rate estimated by means of the four-component Modification of Diet in Renal Disease equation (eGFR) at admission to intensive care unit. In-hospital mortality among 342 patients with STEMI was analized. In the group with eGFR < 60 ml/min/1.73 m2 in-hospital mortality was significantly higher then in group with eGFR
