Abstract

The aim of the study was to compare intensity, stimulated by platelet-activating factor (PAT) and luminalenhanced chemiluminescence of platelets (LECP) in patients with acute syndrome and in healthy volunteers. The level of induced PAT and LECP was significantly higher in the group of patients with acute coronary syndrome (ACS) compared with the control. The values of LECP exceeded 272 light units in 13 patients with ACS. There were no values exceeded this level in the control.
