Abstract
Objective. To analyse the hemorheology indicators in patients with chronic limb ischemia after administration of angiogenesis stimulants.
Material and methods. The research was open, non-randomized, in one center. 66 patients were included in the study, patients aged 30 to 77 years (mean age 58.2±12.1 years). 61 patients were presented with atherosclerotic lesion of arteries of lower extremities, 5 patients with thromboangiitis obliterans. Angiogenesis stimulant bolus was administered for all patients. Autologous cells i.e. precursors of endothelioblasts CD 133+ were injected to patients of the 1st group (17 patients), genetic medicament of the vascular endothelial growth factor VEGF165 was injected in the 2nd group (49 patients). During the whole follow-up period the patients received basic antiplatelet therapy. Medicaments and their dosage were selected initially and remained unchanged since the trial commencement.
Results. All patients examined 1, 3 and 6 months after have reported the clinical improvement as well as according to the instrumental diagnostic methods. The improvement of hemorheologic indicators was recorded already 1 month later, microcirculation indicators 3 months after angiogenesis stimulant injection.
Conclusion. Changes of hemorheology indicators have represented the microcirculation changes.
