Abstract
Syncope is a condition that is characterized as an attack of loss of consciousness due to a brief decrease in cerebral perfusion pressure beyond the range of autoregulation of cerebral blood flow, which leads to short-term global hypoperfusion of the brain. In this article current state of knowledge on etiology, diagnosis, management, and therapy of syncope by the American College of Cardiology.References
