Abstract

Obesity is one of the most common conditions associated with a wide spectrum of chronic diseases (coronary heart disease, arterial hypertension, congestive heart failure, obstructive pulmonary disease and others) and worsening their outcomes. Better obesity care is multimodal goal requiring the whole spectrum of modern approaches including behavioral and dietetic cancelling, life-style interventions, physical activity, medical and even surgical support (in some patients who failed with calorie-reduced diet and exercise regimens). Current options delivered in realworld settings are discussed.
