Abstract

From 1999 to 2008 years percutaneous coronary interventions performed at 3236 patients with coronary heart disease and 131 (4.1%) from them have complications. Investigation group includes patients with acute coronary syndrome and chronic ischemic heart disease who has hospital complications in intra- and peri- procedural period. Emergency coronary artery bypass graft performed in 0.06% (2) cases; acute myocardial infarction have been developed in 0.62% (20), stroke in 0.03% (1) cases. Lethality made up 0.74% (24 patients). Conclusion: percutaneous coronary interventions is the safe method of myocardial revascularization. General frequency complications of PCI was 4.4% (142), and major adverse cardiac events have been developed in 1.45% (47) cases
