Abstract

Pulmonary complications are among the most frequently reported complications after cardiac surgery. The aim of this study was to develop a model, based on pre-, intra-, and postoperative factors, for classifying patients with high, medium and low risks for postoperative pulmonary complications in order to implement tailored interventions and reduce the incidence of such complications.
