Abstract

The study involved 96 patients aged from 30 to 74 years with aortic stenosis and reduced left ventricular ejection fraction. All patients were classified as severe category of patients with II-III stages of circulatory failure, according to the classification of N. D. Strazhesko - V. H. Vasilenko (100%) and by III-IV functional class of NYHA (100%). All patients performed the operation - prosthetic of aortic valve. Already in the early period after surgery showed improvement of clinical, functional and hemodynamic status of patients (an increase in left ventricular ejection fraction, reduction of heart volumes and sizes of the left atrium, as well as peak and mean-diastolic gradients).
