Качество жизни больных пожилого возраста после хирургической коррекции аортального порока сердца
Abstract
The questions of various approaches and methods of surgical correction of aortic valve disease in old patients and also the study of life quality (LQ) in older patients undergoing cardiac surgery are reviewed in the article. This problem is very essential at present day as we have recently noted the increasing number of cardiac surgeries in the group of elderly patients. Recent data on this question are analyzed and outlined by native and foreign authors. Contemporary problems of using the new mini-invasive methods of cardiac surgery in elderly patients, the application of transcatheter implantation of the aortic valve along with the effectiveness analysis of traditional surgical corrections of defects in such serious category of patients are discussed. The evaluation of LQ in the category of patients undergoing surgical correction of heart defects under cardiopulmonary bypass and in patients with severe aortic stenosis undergoing transcatheter valve implantation (TAVI) are discussed in detail. In view of relatively insignificant experience of this type of correction of heart defects, long-term results of studies associated with TAVI and including studies of LQ are just beginning to appear in literature.
