Abstract

The article is dedicated to the literature review concerning the problem of surgical approach to treatment of abdominal aortic aneurysm in combined lesions of coronary and carotid arteries. The frequency of isolated and combined lesions of important vital systems in abdominal aortic aneurysm, main methods of diagnostics and indications to surgery is considered. The dependence of treatment results from the initial risk factors, age, gender and intensity of combined diseases is studied. Surgical approach to treatment is performed depending on intensity of coronary, carotid and abdominal artery lesions, the course of disease in each considered systems (symptomatic asymptomatic), possible cardiac (acute myocardial infarction), cerebral (acute insult) complications and complications connected with abdominal aortic aneurysm. Indications to single-stage and staging procedures are considered separately. The data of literature for immediate and long-term results of isolated, single-stage and staging procedures, life quality of operated patients and strategy of prophylaxis of complications of vital organs.
